Andy Talbot Is a retired engineer and teacher of engineering and has found a new career writing for magazines. His work regularly features in Canal & Riverboat and Waterways World magazines.   His other interests include horticulture and travel and he is occasionally to be found in the pages of magazines reflecting these interests. His main interest is in boats and old engines, particularly those having a marine connection.
