A wing engine is apparently mounted to one side of a fishing boat as a spare to the main
engine if it fails or gets a cable or net on the propeller enabling the boat to motor out of trouble.
I found this engine after ringing an enthusiast mentioned in an article in Waterways World July
2003 page 58/9.
